Help in the release of turtle hatchlings. This year\, our partners at Scales Nature Park have incubated more than 11\,000 turtle eggs. \nTurtle Technicians will be on hand to teach people and kids how to help turtles across roads\, how to build nest protectors\, identify Ontario’s turtles\, and report turtle sightings. \nLive turtles. Live music. Family Fun. \nEntry is by donation to support turtle conservation. \nFriday and Saturday August 23 and 24th. Opening ceremonies at 10am.

Our second annual turtle walks will take place across the region during the peak nesting season for turtles in Ontario- and so the weeks when turtles are near and crossing the roads- the first two weeks of June: June 8 and June 15 .This year is the year of the Tartan Turtle. Prizes for the best costumes and the best posters too.
