SUMMARY:Turtle Guardian Award Ceremony and Strategy Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Meet Kelly Wallace\, our Turtle Guardian of the Year! Kelly is responsible for raising more than $3000 to help the Turtle Trauma Centre buy an ECG unit and more medicine to help turtles. She has also raised a ton of awareness too through her “Watch4Turtles” sign campaign where she partnered with the Beavers and Boy Scouts too! Kelly has contributed invaluably to conservation by raising awareness through her Think Turtle Initiative…she writes blogs\, recruits yarn bombers\, and regularly visits farmer’s markets and venues throughout the year to raise awareness about turtle conservation and to answer questions. \nThe weekend retreat will also feature a brainstorming session to find ways to sustain our efforts in conserving turtles into the future and for future generations. \n  \nSee the retreat poster here.
