Road Patrols and Emergency Response
Every turtle on a road is at risk. Turtle Guardians staff and volunteers patrol roads across North America, helping turtles cross safely, responding to injured turtles, documenting mortalities, and identifying nesting females and nests that may require protection.
Through our growing network of Turtle Guardians, we combine immediate action with community-based conservation. Every turtle helped can make a difference, while observations collected on the road help build awareness of where and when turtles are most at risk.
Turtle Guardians combines organized road patrol and emergency response in Ontario's Highlands with trained volunteers and Turtle Guardians participating across North America.
